February Sales: Spode, Noritake, Fitz & Floyd

FEBRUARY SALES

Here's a list of the few sales that I had in February,

Spode Geisha Light Blue Dinner Plate

Description -- Blanc de Chine Line, Pattern #Y3456. 10 5/8" diameter. All white body with an embossed Turquoise floral rim. Excellent used condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Spode bottom mark with additional decorators marks. Current (06/09) replacement value $41.99 each.

Historical Data -- Spode was founded in 1770. Copeland acquired the Spode business in 1833. In 1976 the company merged with Royal Worchester. They continue to make fine pottery today.



Noritake Colony Teapot

Description -- Pattern 5932. All white body, platinum trim & highlights. 4 1/2" high, 10 1/4" handle to spout, 4 1/4" opening, 3 1/8"" foot ring. Issue dates unknown. Excellent used condition with light wear. Current 09/09 replacement value $79.95.

Historical Data -- The Noritake Company was established in the village of Noritake near Nagoya Japan by Baron Morimura in January 1904. Today it is one of the premier makers of fine China in the world.

Description -- Fitz & Floyd - Vegetable Harvest (Asparagus) Luncheon Plate. 9 1/8" diameter. Purple Asparagus stalk on white background. Excellent condition with no damage. Issued in 1982 discontinued around 1987.

Historical Data -- Fitz & Floyd was founded in 1960 as an import company. They continue today to have a reputation for high quality gift, dinnerware and collectibles. Add this piece to your table as a centerpiece.

Description -- Pattern #6437 10 5/8" diameter, Gray roses on the side. Excellent used condition with no damage. First issued in 1963 and discontinued in 1976. Current (05/09) replacement value $21.99 each.
